Adventure activities

  • Abseiling

  • Canyoning

  • Bushwalking

Group allocations and activities will be determined by the My Adventure Group team based on each attendee’s medical information, fitness level, prior experience and local conditions. The medical and prior experience form must be completed accurately and honestly to help ensure each attendee is assigned to the most suitable activity group.

All participants will be guided by some of Australia’s most qualified professionals. Safety is the highest priority — My Adventure Group’s systems and processes are independently audited to meet best practice standards. They are the only Blue Mountains provider with a NARTA qualification.

Health and fitness

Do I need to be fit to participate?

A moderate level of fitness is recommended for DUAL Emerge in the Blue Mountains. Attendees will be grouped based on their fitness level, medical information and prior experience, with activities selected and tailored accordingly. The activities may include abseiling, canyoning or bushwalking. If you have any health concerns about your ability to participate, please consult a healthcare professional before attending.

What if I’m afraid of heights, have an injury, or can't participate in certain activities?

When completing your medical and prior experience form, please include any relevant medical conditions, injuries, limitations or concerns. The My Adventure Group team will use this information to place you in the most suitable activity group. If you’d prefer not to participate in abseiling or canyoning, you can join the bushwalking group and explore the stunning Blue Mountains at your own pace. Participation in all activities is voluntary.

Will activities go ahead if the weather is bad?

Activities are weather-dependent. My Adventure Group will assess local conditions and may adapt, modify or change activities where necessary to ensure the safety of all participants.
