What’s the weather like?
Prepare for all seasons of weather, all days of the year! In the mountains, temperatures vary enormously and the difference between a brilliant day out and being miserable often comes down to having the right clothing. As the highest town in the Blue Mountains, Blackheath receives snow in winter and in summer temps can climb up to 40°C. A good rule of thumb is that the temp is usually 5-10°C cooler than Sydney. It’s a good idea to check the weather forecast a couple of days before heading up.

Adventure Activities
Using information from the medical and prior experience forms, attendees may participate in activities such as:
- Team building e.g. obstacle course
- Abseiling
- Canyoning

- Yoga
The medical and prior experience form must be completed accurately and honestly to assist the My Adventure Group team in assigning each attendee to the most suitable group. Activities will be tailored to individual fitness levels, experience, and local conditions.
All participants will be guided by some of Australia’s most qualified professionals. Safety is the highest priority — My Adventure Group’s systems and processes are independently audited to meet best practice standards. They are the only Blue Mountains provider with a NARTA qualification.
