DUAL North America appoints Peter Gosselink as Executive Vice President for Fine Art Program

DUAL North America (“DUAL”) today announced the appointment of Peter Gosselink as Executive Vice President (EVP) of its Fine Art program.

In this role, Gosselink will oversee the strategic development and growth of DUAL’s Fine Art program, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing specialized coverage for a variety of both commercial and private art collections and stock in trade. He will also be responsible for expanding DUAL’s portfolio in the Fine Art sector with a primary focus on developing unique solutions for DUAL’s brokers.

DUAL’s Fine Art program provides bespoke insurance products for art collections and stock in trade including paintings, sculptures, archaeological materials, sports memorabilia, antiques, and other objects of artistic or historic merit. The program covers a wide variety of domestic and international risks and provides additional coverage including terrorism, flood, earthquake, defense costs, restoration and event cancellation. Supported by a panel of insurers, the Fine Art program will offer $30M primary limits and $50M excess limits with a minimum attachment point of $25M for excess placements.

Gosselink trained as a Marine Underwriter specializing in Fine Arts and collections before becoming a product leader versed in insuring various artwork and collectibles for commercial and private collections and stock in trade. He is experienced in risk management for Fine Arts including a multitude of collections and jewellery. Prior to joining DUAL, Gosselink served as Senior Underwriter II, Inland Marine – Fine Art specialist and national product lead for Tokio Marine America Insurance company.

Gosselink is a graduate from Franklin & Marshall College with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art / Art History.
