Our story

In 1998, our founders had a dream – to create a different kind of insurance company. They wanted to build an organization where talented and creative professionals would be given responsibility and the freedom to do their work independently. This principle is still at the heart of our business.

DUAL started in Madrid in a small office focused on Financial Lines insurance. Now, more than 20 years later, we have expanded to five continents and operate across Europe, North and Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.

Today, DUAL is one of the world's largest MGAs: we employ more than 1,750 experts in 21 countries and offer solutions in more than 70 insurance products.

Working with MGA

DUAL is an MGA, or insurance broker. We insure risks on behalf of insurance companies.

We can insure risks up to a certain limit in various insurance classes. Sometimes insurance companies also delegate claims handling to us.

Working with an MGA allows insurance companies to use local experts.
