Motor cover options that go the extra mile.
Motor cover options that go the extra mile.
When your customer’s vehicle is off the road, business doesn’t stop. That’s why DUAL offers optional extensions designed to keep things moving - literally.
Loss of use extension
If your client’s vehicle is out of action due to a covered loss, how long can they operate without it?
This extension helps cover the reasonable cost of hiring a replacement vehicle while theirs is being repaired or replaced.
- Choose a daily rate and period that suits their business needs.
- If no similar vehicle is available for hire, DUAL may - on request - pay the daily rate directly to the insured.
- This gives them flexibility to hire a relief driver with the right vehicle to maintain delivery contracts.
Total loss signwriting extension
Your client’s vehicles might be wrapped in branding, artwork, or decals and that’s covered under our standard wording when it comes to repair claims.
But in the event of a total loss, the market value definition excludes signwriting, as it doesn’t add financial value to the vehicle itself. That’s where our optional extension comes in:
- It allows signwriting, wraps and artwork to be included in the claim when a vehicle is written off
- We simply require the declared value of the signwriting upfront and we'll take care of the rest
If you’ve got questions or want to explore these extensions further, reach out - we’re here to help make sure your client’s cover works as hard as their vehicles do.
