On Thursday 17 September, more than 170 brokers and industry partners came together at Luminare in Melbourne for an evening that demonstrated the generosity and strength of our community. Overlooking the Melbourne skyline, it was the perfect setting to come together in support of our charity partner, Eat Up.
As the evening unfolded, the room was filled with conversation, laughter and a full program of trivia, raffle draws and auctions. But the evening was about more than the event itself, as it brought our community together to support a very important cause.
Eat Up is the first and only Australian not-for-profit organisation providing free lunches to hungry children at school nationally. With the support of partners and dedicated volunteers, more than 20,000 lunches are made and delivered to schools every week. Since 2013, Eat Up has delivered more than 3 million lunches to children across regional Australia, supporting students in more than 890 schools.
