Underwriting requirements
To assess your client’s cyber risk and tailor coverage effectively, we typically require:
- Company overview: including sector, size, operations, and jurisdictions.
- IT infrastructure and controls: details on systems, backups, endpoint protection, MFA, and cloud use.
- Incident history: past cyber events or claims.
- Risk management practices: Employee training, third-party/vendor controls, and any regular testing (e.g. phishing simulations, vulnerability scans).
- Business continuity planning: Including disaster recovery procedures and RTO/RPO targets.
For larger or more complex risks, we may also request security assessments or reports from third-party vendors.
