Meet our leadership team
Chief Executive OfficerSimon McGinn
LinkedInChief Executive OfficerSimon joined DUAL in 2024 to drive ambitious growth plans for our UK business. He’d previously worked for 19 years at Allianz, where he was CEO of Allianz Commercial and sat on the UK PLC board. Before that, he spent three years at Aviva, having started his career as a graduate at Commercial Union. Simon studied geography at the University of Reading and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Outside of work, he’s a passionate rugby supporter, having played and coached the sport for many years.
Chief Financial OfficerJulie Adams-Moore
LinkedInChief Financial OfficerJulie joined DUAL in 2023, having previously worked for KGM, which is now part of DUAL. As KGM’s finance director, she also led the company’s data strategy and broker service operations. Julie previously worked at Towergate Insurance, in various operational and commercial finance roles, as well as with several high-growth, private equity-backed companies across a number of different industries. She trained as an auditor with PwC and today serves as chair of governors at an infant school in Hertfordshire.
Chief Risk OfficerCaroline Stone
LinkedInChief Risk OfficerCaroline joined DUAL in 2022 to head up our risk and compliance teams in the UK, where she sits on the board of DUAL Corporate Risks Limited. She previously held roles at BGL, Nottingham Building Society, Experian, Capital One and Mars, having started her career as a chartered accountant with KPMG. Caroline has a bachelor’s degree in maths and management science from the University of Leeds.
Head of MarketingSophie Cresswell
LinkedInHead of MarketingSophie joined DUAL in 2019 and was appointed head of marketing in 2023. Her responsibilities include marketing strategy, brand awareness, events, content and communications. Before joining DUAL, Sophie held a number of marketing roles in various law firms and start-ups, having graduated from the University of Sussex with a bachelor’s degree in English language. Sophie lives in London, but hails from Northumberland. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing and yoga.
Head of Human ResourcesRebecca Bramley
LinkedInHead of Human ResourcesRebecca joined DUAL in 2015, having first worked at Howden in 2013. At the helm of our HR team, her role is a twofold responsibility – to empower our teams to reach their full potential, while meeting our business strategy through effective people solutions. Rebecca has supported the UK business through various stages of change transformation and growth, and also works with the wider-group HR team in talent acquisition, reward, leadership and learning. She graduated from the University of Southampton with a bachelor’s degree in geography.
Chief Distribution OfficerRobert Corner
LinkedInChief Distribution OfficerRob joined DUAL in 2024 as chief distribution officer. He was previously regional director for AXA and, before that, managing director of Premierline insurance broker. Rob spent nine years at Allianz, having joined as management trainee with a master’s degree in international business from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Outside of work, Rob likes to play and watch all sorts of sport, and spend time with his young family.
Chief ActuaryCatherine Farnworth
LinkedInChief ActuaryCatherine joined DUAL in 2024 to head up our actuaries in the UK and Europe. She was previously chief risk actuary at IQUW in London and MS Amlin in Zurich. Catherine spent five years in Bermuda – as lead actuary for PwC and then as group actuary for MS Frontier. She has a master’s degree in maths from the University of Oxford, where she rowed and played tennis.
Chief Underwriting OfficerCatherine Dixon
LinkedInChief Underwriting OfficerCatherine Dixon is Chief underwriting Officer for DUAL UK. Joining the company in June 2024, she is responsible for leading the underwriting functions in the UK. Catherine brings over 35 years’ experience in the insurance industry, including roles in Underwriting, Risk Control and Portfolio Management. Prior to joining DUAL, Catherine was Chief Underwriting Officer at Allianz Commercial UK. In her spare time she enjoys running, growing her own vegetables, and gardening.
Chief Operating OfficerMark Budd
LinkedInChief Operating OfficerMark Joined DUAL UK in 2024 as the CIO and became the UK COO in September 2025.
Mark has over 25 years of experience in insurance and has held numerous senior roles across IT & Operations. Mark started work with HSBC’s financial services arm, before moving to Aviva, then held various roles at Zurich prior to joining DUAL.
In his spare time, when not playing taxi service for his 3 children, Mark likes to watch sport and play golf.
