DUAL North America appoints Paul Schiavone as Executive Vice President, Cyber and Professional Lines
Strategic hire builds on DUAL’s cyber expansion and accelerates growth across professional liability in North America
DUAL North America (“DUAL”), has announced the appointment of Paul Schiavone as Executive Vice President, Cyber and Professional Lines.
Schiavone joins DUAL with more than 25 years of experience in the cyber and professional liability market. He brings deep relationships across the industry, including with buyers, producers, and underwriting partners, along with a strong track record of building and scaling profitable portfolios.
In his new role, Schiavone will lead both DUAL’s Cyber and Professional Liability businesses, working closely with underwriting teams across North America and globally. His appointment follows DUAL’s recent expansion of its North American cyber appetite and the launch of the company’s enhanced global cyber strategy, positioning the organization for accelerated growth and innovation in these critical specialty lines.
Paul’s depth of experience and market relationships make him a powerful addition to our talented team. His appointment is an important step in accelerating our growth in North America - strengthening our ability to scale these portfolios, deepen our technical capabilities, and deliver differentiated solutions to our distribution partners.
Cyber is one of DUAL’s most significant global growth priorities, and we continue to invest heavily in expanding our capabilities across regions. Strengthening our North American platform is essential to this strategy, and Paul’s leadership will play a key role in building the scale, consistency, and innovation needed to advance our global cyber ambitions.

Throughout his career, Schiavone has held senior leadership roles at leading global insurers where he successfully developed and managed high-performing books of business. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Professional Lines at Coaction.
Schiavone will be based out of New York, reporting to Connie Germano.
