DUAL Claims Services announces leadership transition

DUAL Claims Services, Inc. (formerly Align Claims Services, Inc.) is announcing a leadership change in its Commercial Casualty Claims division. 

Effective January 1, 2026, Laura Schoefer will take on the role of EVP, Head of Commercial Casualty Claims, reporting to Connie Germano, Chief Casualty Officer of DUAL North America. 
 
Since joining in 2024, Laura has made an impact on the Specialty Construction & Transport program through her technical expertise, collaborative approach, and strong partnerships with underwriting and carrier teams. She will now oversee day-to-day operations and lead the claims team across the Casualty group. 

Tedd Zylstra, who has been with DUAL since 2018 and served as President of DUAL Claims Services, Inc. since 2022, will now focus on managing special projects and legacy liabilities, supporting a smooth transition and continuity of knowledge. 

This change reflects DUAL’s commitment to developing talent from within, ensuring continuity, and maintaining its reputation for claims excellence.
